Manoli happy at the beach..... Meet Manoli, my latest little one I adopted from the Bahamas Humane Society. Manoli was so neglected and eventually brought into the shelter as his owners could not keep him anymore. I fall in love with him right away..he was at the shelter for a month and nobody adopted him, He has heart worm, Erlichea and he got kennel cough. Plus another few things but he is on the mend and he is feeling great now....Just that he is going through heart worm treatments and all the other problems have been dealt with.
I Hope you all will adopt from local shelters and give a little one a well deserved fur ever home...
It's heartening to see animals that, after having gone through such hard times, still have trust in humans. My dog was already adopted and returned twice before she was adopted by my own family. Sometimes I just can't believe that people had dumped her.
It's ridiculous, and really sad too. I mean, if you plan to adopt a dog, make sure you'll be able to keep it for life in the first place. Animals are not for discarding/returning like malfunctioning objects bought from a store.
